It’s a busy last week of July for My Neighbor Alice as it’s running its 2nd lottery Land Sale and holding an NFT sale on Binance. The Animal Crossing-inspired casual building and decorating game recently added an “Alice neighborhood” on The Sandbox hence the buzzing commercial activities.
Event 1: My Neighbor Alice’s Second Land Sale Lottery
After a successful first round, the multiplayer blockchain builder game is back for its Second Land Sale Lottery. 1000 plots from the Shaded headland Region of Nature’s Rest Island are up for grabs. The catch is that players must participate in a lottery to win the option to buy land. The game held its first land sale back in June using the same strategy and it worked out well. That’s why this round, they are not reinventing the wheel.
So the prerequisite to buy land is to win a spot in the lottery. Acquiring tickets to the lottery involves holding various ALICE LP (liquidity pool) pairs and/ staking ALICE or CHR (Chromia) on their official site. Users are required to deposit at least 50 ALICE for eligibility.
The important date to remember is August 12th at 10:00 UTC because that’s when the drawing will occur. Once the lottery is complete, the winners will transfer the required 50 ALICE in order to redeem their land plot.
Now let’s talk about the staking snapshot part of the process. Deposits opened on July 21st. Meanwhile, the snapshots for ticket distribution started today, July 28. Participants earn tickets daily and can earn for a maximum of 14 days (from July 28th through August 11th). Each ALICE staked to the land sale lottery portal generates one ticket per day. Staked Chromia generates 1 ticket per 20 CHR a day.
In terms of eligibility, tokens that are in liquidity pools are counted. However, LPs in farming pools will not count; they must be in the linked wallet. It is worth noting that the ALICE token runs on BSC so all staking and the token purchase will happen there. On the other hand, Chromia can be staked from either the ETH Network or BSC.
Event 2: The Midsummer Binance x ALICE Festival
My Neighbor Alice has another good news for the community. Binance announced the listing of the game’s exclusive NFTs series on their new Marketplace platform on July 30. The Midsummer Binance x ALICE NFT Festival is being positioned as a time of merriment and festivities celebrating the hottest season of the year!
Of course, festivities won’t be complete without a little shopping. During the festive, 40,000 Mystery Baskets are for sale. Each Mystery Basket contains 1 NFT, and in total, there are 40.000 NFTs divided across these baskets. There’s a mix of beautifully crafted and Midsummer-themed My Neighbor Alice wearables and items spread across these baskets.
Furthermore, a Mystery Basket includes 16 unique in-game cosmetics that players can redeem in the main game and Alice’s Mysterious Seed mini-game. With a probability of 0,15%, there’s an opportunity that one of the NFTs will be a super, super rare Animal NFT in the basket.
